On Saturday 14th January 2023, join us here at Rich’s Cider Farm for our annual Charity Wassail, where we’ll be singing, dancing and drinking plenty of our award-winning cider.
A Wassail is a traditional Somerset ceremony carried out to bless an orchard. It’s an ancient practice we keep alive here at the Farm, complete with rituals involving tree roots, shotguns, and, of course, cider, to ward off bad spirits and ensure a good harvest for the year to come.
There’ll be delicious hot food on sale all evening from our Cider Press Restaurant, and two fully stocked bars. The Skimmity Hitchers will be performing for us, playing their classic Scrumpy and Western music with a 21st Century twist.
As we celebrate all things cider on this winter’s night, we’ll be raising much-needed funds for Cancer Research UK. We’re proud to have raised over £10,000 for a wide range of charities over the past 15 years – giving back is another tradition we’re determined to keep up.
If you fancy joining us, please book in advance – tickets are limited and, unfortunately, they won’t be available on the night. You can get yours today by following the link to our online shop.
